Come join our family and help us at our beautiful dog training center and sanctuary. We have welcomed many tourists into our center and everyone of them has very much enjoyed their time here. Right now, we have 7 dogs and I'm hoping to get more. We give all our dogs love, shelter and plenty of care. To us they are loyal, lovable, my family and my best friends. My husband is a dog trainer and runs a pet shop as well.

Volunteers can take care of the dogs by training and sharing their knowledge and ideas for the betterment of dogs. Your days would involve playing with puppies, feeding them, walking them, grooming and training. We also need help in running our pet shop, for a few hours if you are interested. Pet shop is a 10 min walk from the house and has good WiFi. This is a great way to learn the Nepali culture and to meet residents of the neighbourhood. You can customize your volunteer work and schedule, depending on the amount of volunteers here and what you are interested in helping out with. We ask for 2 hours of volunteer work a day at minimum. The dogs need to be taken out for walks in the morning or evening. We have 7 dogs right now. They are Rambo (Shepherd), Abbie (pug), Puppy, Brownie, Lulu, Rayli and Tilli (stray dogs).

You will see multiple dogs lying on the streets at most blocks around Kathmandu that are not properly taken care of. We very much would like to take them in the future, however we need help and funding for upkeep and vaccination. Also we are looking for sponsors so that we can start a dog sanctuary which is our first priority.

We are searching for volunteers from around the world who love dogs as much as we do and who can help us in caring for them properly.

We provide food (Nepali meals ) and accommodation in a room at my home. We do ask for a $5 USD contribution per day per person please. A little extra to use the WiFi please. 100% of your contribution goes to the development of our programs.

 

When you are here you are NOT an employee. You are part of our family and home. You can enjoy the Nepali culture and out way of life. We will guide you around Kathmandu city to see sights like ancient temples, stupas, festivals and many more hidden treasures of Nepal. You will feel totally safe with us. You can also learn Nepali language and Nepali cooking with us. You will have plenty of time to discover Nepal with us!
